Viva Maracanã: the greatest stage in Brazil's history
More than visiting. Living it.
The Maracanã is not just a football stadium. It is the Casa do Inesquecível, the greatest stage in the history of Brazil and of the world. For more than seventy years, it has held the moments that defined a nation: unforgettable finals, historic concerts and ceremonies the whole planet watched.
Viva Maracanã was created to turn that greatness into an experience. Our vision is to build a tourism and cultural platform inside Rio de Janeiro's most symbolic stadium, one that lives up to what this place represents. Not a simple visit, but a way to belong to the history the stadium keeps writing every day.
We believe the Maracanã was not made just to be seen. It was made to be lived, by people who live in Rio, by people who come from far away, by people who have sat in the stands and by people setting foot here for the first time.
Values
What moves us
Three territories underpin everything we do at the Tour Maracanã and the Museu Maracanã. They are not just brand concepts, but what makes a visit to the Maracanã a unique experience in Rio de Janeiro.
Stories
We are the only place in Brazil where the histories of Brazilian football, music and culture meet in the same physical space. The great deciding matches, the biggest concerts in the country and the path of the two giants that run this heritage site, Flamengo and Fluminense. Every visit to the Maracanã is a way of walking through decades of national memory.
Connection
At the Maracanã, a foreign tourist, a family from Rio, a fan and a first-time visitor share the same space and feel the same emotion. Here, nobody watches from the outside. Everyone is part of it.
Passion
It is what no other Rio de Janeiro landmark can offer: the collective emotion of an entire country that learned to feel together, in the same place. It is not a feeling you bring into the Maracanã, it is a feeling the Maracanã creates.
Mission
Our purpose
Our goal is simple to say and big to achieve: to let people live the Maracanã.
This is not a slogan, it is why Viva Maracanã exists. Every Tour Maracanã, every room of the future Museu Maracanã and every complementary experience we offer is there to turn the people who come in from visitors into part of the story.
Live the Maracanã. Don't just visit. Don't just watch. Live it.

The route
The spaces of the visit
Backstage, pitch and history: the three spaces the visit goes through inside the stadium.

Backstage
When you stop in front of a shirt, a trophy or a document in the museum, you are seeing the end of a long journey. Here is what usually stays out of the visitor's sight: how the collection is researched, conserved, moved and displayed.

The pitch
The goals, the finals and the Fla-Flu classics that made history on the Maracanã pitch, to see up close on the Tour Maracanã.

History
The origin of the name, the construction, the 1950 World Cup, the Fla-Flu, the renovations and the memory of the Maracanã, told in order and with context. The Casa do Inesquecível shows this story up close.

Manifesto

There are places you visit. There are places you photograph. There are places you get to know.
But there are places you live.
The Maracanã is one of them.
Some places leave memories, others leave stories. And there are places that span generations.
The Maracanã never belonged only to football. It belongs to first times, to the unforgettable goal, to the concert that stayed in memory, to the embrace after the win and to the emotion that doesn't choose age, team or origin.
Everyone arrives here with an expectation and leaves with a story they will tell for many years.
That is what we believe: experiences have the power to bring people together, stir emotions and turn a moment into memory. A heritage site only stays alive as long as people keep living it.
That is why we don't just open gates. We open paths to new stories.

Because the Maracanã was never made just to be seen. It was made to be lived.
Viva Maracanã.
